MechoSystems announced that it received the 2015 Architectural Products magazine Product Innovation Award (PIA) in the Solar Control category for its recently released SoHo Collection, a finely woven textile featuring distinctive color themes for use with roller shades.

It was curtains for the challengers in the Motorized Shade Systems category as MechoSystems’ ShadeLoc® zipper-shade system captured the title of “Most Innovative” solution in the 2015 WCMA Product Awards. The Window Covering Manufacturers Association’s (WCMA) annual competition showcases some of the industry’s best new products. It is judged by experts from around the design community.

MechoSystems has released a wireless, solar-powered daylight sensor for automated window-covering control. This compact sensor measures daylight coming in at the window wall and communicates wirelessly with a small controller.
